'Whole government' backs jailing Walter Mittys
A backbencher's bid to bring back prison sentences for people who wear war medals they have not been awarded has the backing of the whole government, says Armed Forces Minister Mike Penning.
He told Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn about the hurt caused by "deceitful" people who falsely wear the medals, known as Walter Mittys, as he debated with Conservative MP Claire Perry, whose Wiltshire seat is home to thousands of army staff.
