I was the first black trans model
As a young black teenager in 1970s, Tracey Norman was thrilled to be scouted as a model.
Her career took off and she landed coveted jobs fronting adverts for major cosmetic brands and gracing the pages of Italian Vogue.
But Tracey was keeping a secret that she desperately hoped no-one would discover, that in fact she was a transgender woman.
When the truth came out her fears were realised and her career came to a crushing end.
Tracey spoke to Joanna Gosling about what that time in her life was like.
