Essex Police receives over 400 emergency hoax calls a month

More than 400 people make an inappropriate or hoax 999 call to Essex Police each month, the force has revealed.
Officers say such calls could lead to serious harm or death if they're preventing officers from hearing about actual emergencies.
This call was just one of the many inappropriate emergency calls the force has dealt with recently.
