Why make play about Monster Raving Loony Party?
Political playwright James Graham and Alan "Howling Laud" Hope. leader of the Monster Raving Loony Party, on a new play about Lord Sutch and the party's founding.
The current leader explained the party would stand in the Tooting by-election on 16 June, which marks the anniversary of the party being founded in 1982, and is also the date Lord Sutch died.
He was asked about its position about the EU referendum, while Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn also got a reaction from former Conservative leader Lord Howard.
