Part of one of the busiest routes around Leicester is being closed later this evening so that major roadworks can be carried out. If you regularly drive along New Parks Way and the Groby Road roundabout, you'll be well aware of the chaos that roadworks in that area are causing. But did you know that volunteer Parish nurses can help support the work of the NHS? There are just a handful of them in our area - registered nurses who can offer home visits, support for carers, appointment booking and unlike community nurses, they can organise prayers for patients who can't get to their place of worship. Jo joined Parish Nurse Vera Harding on her rounds in North West Leicestershire.
