Labour leadership's 'dereliction of duty'
Former shadow minister Rachel Reeves criticised Labour for 鈥渇ocusing inwardly鈥 on issues like Trident, which she said did not resonate with the public, rather than jobs and the economy.
Ms Reeves said the leadership had to take responsibility for having 鈥渙pened up鈥 the issue of Trident - which Jeremy Corbyn wants to scrap - saying jobs and security depended on the UK鈥檚 nuclear weapons system.
鈥淲e should have learned these lessons in the 1980s,鈥 she added.
