Should Trump be banned from the UK?
Green Party leader Natalie Bennett and UKIP MEP David Coburn discussed calls to ban Donald Trump from the UK ahead of a Westminster debate on the subject.
Ms Bennett said about 200 people had been banned because their presence would not be conducive to the public good, and it was 鈥渞easonable鈥 for Mr Trump to be added to the list. If he were ever to become president he would have to 鈥渞ow back鈥 on the comments, she said.
Mr Coburn said Mr Trump鈥檚 comments were 鈥渞idiculous鈥 but said he should be 鈥渄efeated in the public arena鈥. He said the prospect of him winning the US election was 鈥渢errifying鈥 but added that 鈥渉e may become president so we can鈥檛 just ignore him鈥.
