Fatal lung disease case in parliament
Fred Mynall, an ex-serviceman, can't claim compensation for fatal lung disease mesothelioma, caused by exposure to asbestos. Under a loophole in the law, those suffering illness or injury caused before 1987 cannot sue the Ministry of Defence.
The issue is being raised in Parliament with a debate being lead by Mr Mynall's MP, David Mackinstosh the member for Northampton South.
