Australian Rules (Aussie Rules) footballer Adam Goodes has told Â鶹Éç Extra Time about his campaign work to improve indigenous rights and stop domestic violence.

Asked if he had political ambitions, the 2014 Australian of the Year, said he was fully committed to the next season at the Australian Football League (AFL), but the issues that he campaigns on were important to him.

Mr Goodes said that if you want to make positive changes for a large number of people you have to have some level of political power.
