Former All Black Ali Williams on rugby鈥檚 'dark hole'
Ali Williams tells the 麻豆社's Extra Time he went into a 鈥渄ark hole鈥 to prepare mentally before games, describing it as a place that allowed him to go beyond the pain barrier. He did this to relax and control his pre-game excitement.
The former New Zealand rugby union player says rugby is about more than "two guys colliding" and involves thought and team work.
Ali Williams recently retired from his French club side Toulon. His former national team, the All Blacks, just defeated France in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
