Parisian Patisserie Revolution
Food writer Rachel Khoo left Croydon for a life in Paris, driven by a passion to make the capital's legendary cakes. After training at the world-famous Cordon-Bleu culinary school, she discovered that she too could craft patisserie like the Parisians.
The French have always taken their food very seriously and Rachel is in the capital to discover the latest cake trends. She encounters a leading patissier, who explains how young pastry chefs are reinventing old cakes – with their creations being displayed like works of art.
