In the long grass of a meadow, a female wildcat is on the prowl. She pounces on what appears to be a field vole and then dashes for cover. At the edge of the meadow she sits and eats her kill, but in no time at all she's back in hunting mode. Even as the wind picks up and stirs the long grass she can still hear the subtle sounds and movements of her prey and is successful once again in her hunting challenge, this time taking her prey deep into the surrounding woods to eat it.
