About the programme
Chris Goreham is 麻豆社 Radio Norfolk's聽Norwich City football commentator, and was our breakfast show presenter from September 2009 until April 2014. He resumed the role in November 2019.
Chris took over the reins of the breakfast show having聽previously聽presented the station's mid-morning, afternoon and drivetime shows.
Chris's childhood dream was to be a footballer. Having realised early on though that he didn't have the talent to become a professional, he resigned himself to having to talk about the game for a living.
Chris blames his parents - having been forced to go to Carrow Road for the first time at the age of four in 1986 and becoming a City season ticket holder just a few years later.
He's Norfolk born and bred, growing up in Attleborough, then Spixworth, before attending Sprowston High School and Norwich City College.
After joining 麻豆社 Radio Norfolk as a sports reporter in 1998, he eventually became the voice Norwich City when he took up his reign as commentator - just in time to oversee their relegation to League One. In 2012, he reported for all 麻豆社 Local Radio stations on the Paralympic Games in London, including a memorable live commentary on 麻豆社 Radio Norfolk of local swimmer Jessica-Jane Applegate's gold medal win.
Away from work, Chris enjoys watching too much sport on TV, particularly football and cricket, as well as watching live stand-up comedy and music.
In April 2014 Chris became 麻豆社 Radio Norfolk's sports editor.
