Live music and chat with classical artists
Live music and conversation with Katie Derham, including a performance from pianist Hao Zi Yoh.
Katie Derham meets Adrian Dunbar and Stephanie J Block, currently starring in Cole Porter's musical Kiss Me, Kate at the Barbican Centre in London. Stephanie performs a number from the show. And there's more live music from the pianist Hao Zi Yoh.
Also, ahead of the UK General Election, Katie continues a series of conversations with culture spokespeople from the main four political parties at Westminster, about their plans for the arts and music. Today she meets John Nicolson, Westminster cultural spokesperson for the Scottish National Party.
We also hear from musical organisations across the UK, telling us what they want from a new government: today, Deborah Annetts from the Incorporated Society of Musicians, and Cass Alabaster from the National Open Youth Orchestra.
