Sol Gabetta plays Shostakovich

Principal Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali rounds off the Philharmonia Orchestra's season with a concert featuring Liszt, Shostakovich and Elgar.

The Philharmonia Orchestra鈥檚 final concert of the season closes with Elgar鈥檚 enduringly popular paean to friendship, his Enigma Variations. Principal Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali is joined by cellist Sol Gabetta to perform Shostakovich's fiery concerto and the concert opens with Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
