Episode 3

Amy gets a call for help from two members of the Windrush community who would love to perform a spectacular dance routine at a special 75th anniversary Windrush Day event.

Amy’s next mission is supersized as she helps not one but two rookie dancers prepare to dance in front of 300 people at a very special event. Wayne and Yvonne have just four weeks before they perform at celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the arrival of passengers of the HMT Empire Windrush in the UK. The pair, both members of the Windrush Elders group in Cardiff, have been asked to dance on national Windrush Day at the Senedd so they – with Amy’s help – are determined to pull off a performance worthy of the occasion.

Wayne and Yvonne both love to dance and have talent, but zero dance training. Adapting to the formal steps won’t be easy. Despite being friends, they’ve never danced together, so Amy has her work cut out getting this brand new partnership ready and fast. It’s time to call in the big guns!

Amy has a surprise for Wayne and Yvonne when her friend, Strictly winner and acclaimed choreographer Oti Mabuse turns up at the studio. Armed with tough tactics and top techniques, Amy hopes Oti will take Wayne and Yvonne’s performance to the next level.

When the big moment arrives, there’s a last-minute hiccup. With Amy’s encouragement, can Wayne and Yvonne save the day and pull off the dance they’ve worked so hard to achieve?
