This week Cerys's guest is Grammy-nominated Tennessee-born singer Valerie June, who fresh from her UK performances tells Cerys about her new EP Under Cover. The EP features covers of Gillian Welch's Look at Miss Ohio and Bob Dylan's Tonight I'll be Staying Here With You. Valerie chats about playing to UK festival crowds, being acknowledged by Bob Dylan, her love of southern food, and her upcoming children's book.

Cumbrian based poet Kim Moore shares poems from her collection All the Men I Never Married, which is nominated for the Forward Prize for Best Collection 2022. Her first full length collection The Art of Falling (2015) won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize. Kim was awarded a Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Bursary in 2016 to carry out PhD research at Manchester Metropolitan University, and completed her doctorate in Poetry and Everyday Sexism in March 2020. She now works as a Creative Writing Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.
