Ludwig Wittgenstein was the 20th century's most famous philosopher. In this documentary, writer Gareth Gwynn explores why Wittgenstein enjoyed living in Swansea during the 1940s.

Born in1889 Vienna, Ludwig Wittgenstein was arguably the most important philosopher of the 20th Century. 100 years ago, in 1922, his most influential work - Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus - was published in English.
Presenter Gareth Gwynn reveals why Wittgenstein became so fond of Swansea and its people, and spent so much time living in the area.
The documentary also explores Wittgenstein’s life and work, including his theories upon the ways in which we communicate and express ourselves;
the inspirations Wittgenstein drew from the local area; and this great thinker’s somewhat eccentric lifestyle.
