This week, Cerys welcomes Dr Holly Pester to discuss her writing, her influences and inspirations in The Poet Tree. Dr Holly Pester was suggested by the previous Poet Tree guest Dr Luke Kennard, who cited her debut collection Comic Timing as the book he keeps going back to this year. Dr Holly Pester is a lecturer in Poetry and Performance at The University of Essex, and for her PhD she examined Making Speech Matter: Recurring Mediations of Sound Poetics in the Contemporary Field.
