Brian Jackson is keyboardist, flautist, composer, producer, singer and bandleader. Earlier this month he released his first full album in twenty years, collaborating with Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad from the label Jazz Is Dead. Brian is best known for being Gil Scott-Heron鈥檚 keyboardist, collaborator, writing partner and bandleader of their Midnight Band. The pair worked together on the album Pieces of a Man, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.

Also, writer, poet and TV and film producer Henry Normal shares some of his latest poetic creations, written during lockdown. Henry also founded the Manchester Poetry festival (now Literary festival) and co-wrote The Mrs Merton show and The Royale Family before setting up Baby Cow Productions, which has given us classic comedies like Gavin and Stacey, Alan Partridge and The Mighty Boosh.
