Simon Cheng
Stephen Sackur speaks to Simon Cheng, an employee of the British consulate in Hong Kong, arrested last year during the pro-democracy protests, and now seeking asylum in the UK.

HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur speaks to Simon Cheng, an employee of the British consulate in Hong Kong who was arrested last year in mainland China and, he says, interrogated and physically abused. A year on Mr Cheng is seeking asylum in the UK and China is about to impose a new national security law in Hong Kong. Will anything stop Beijing imposing its will on Hong Kong?
