The Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad close Faith In The World week with a look at the ups and downs of being single later in life.

You could call it a global single revolution, more and more of us are now living on our own - not married, or cohabiting. In England and Wales the fastest growing single age group are 50 - 64 year olds.

Journalist Minreet Kaur shares her experience of being single in the Sikh community following divorce. And Kate goes to meet the women of the Older Women's Co-Housing community in North London who have built their own block of flats so they can live alone, amongst friendly, helpful neighbours.

Presenter Simon Thomas has spoken movingly about bereavement, single fatherhood and faith following the death of his wife Gemma in 2017. He shares his experiences of finding himself single again after trauma and how he's bravely and painfully adapted to his new life.

Plus Stephen K Amos recounts his experience of meeting the Pope as a gay man and what the single life means for him.
