Holiday pay controversy - Alliance deputy leader on why he didn't introduce a cap when he was employment minister.
More questions for the Alliance Party this morning, as the holiday pay scandal continues into its second week. The Ulster Unionist leader Robin Swann has told this programme that he 'can see at no point where the DEL committee were made aware of the implications to the Northern Ireland budget'. The minister at the time, Stephen Farry, says he acted in the best interests of workers and employers - by taking no action. But could that decision to take no action lead to a bill of hundreds of millions of pounds to the NI Executive? Or was it all about protecting workers rights? Alliance MLA Stephen Farry spoke to Stephen this morning, and we got reaction from UUP leader Robin Swann, DUP MLA Jim Wells and commentator Newton Emerson.
