Tha Iain Moireasdan a' còmhradh ri Mìcheal Bochanan mu dheidhinn ar-a-mach Libia ann an 2011 - tachartas a chuir crioch air riaghladh an Còirneal Muammar Gaddafi. 'S e fear-naidheachd dhan BhBC a th' ann am Mìcheal agus bha e ag aithris air an t-sabaid san dùthaich 's a Mhàrt, faisg air toiseach an ar-a-mach.

Ann am Benghazi, chunnaic e cho misneachail 's a bha na reubaltaich às dèidh dhaibh am baile a shaoradh bho smachd Gaddafi. Ach 's e suidheachadh cunnartach, mi-rianail a bh' ann cuideachd le mòran a' làimhseachadh gunnaichean is armachd nach b' aithne dhaibh a chleachdadh. Tha Mìcheal cuideachd ag innse cho faisg 's a thàinig a' chunnart air fhèin nuair a chaidh boma-làimhe a leigeil dheth san taigh-òsda anns an robh e a' fuireach -ach gu fortanach cha deach a leòn.

John Morrison interviews guests who witnessed major world events. In this episode, John talks to Michael Buchanan about the Libyan Revolution of 2011, an event which brought the rule of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to an end.

Michael was reporting from Libya for the Â鶹Éç at the time and witnessed much of the turmoil in and around the second city of Benghazi, where he saw how jubilant people were after freeing the city from Gaddafi's control. However, it was a dangerous and difficult environment to work in, with frontlines constantly changing and rebels handling guns and ammunition which they hadn't been trained to use. Michael recounts an incident where he himself faced danger when a hand-grenade went off in his hotel - but he emerged unscathed.
