In the Belfast Telegraph today, he compares its treatment to that given to showpiece golfing events. And he says there should a level playing field. So is he right? Should the North West get more government support, despite all the dangers involved? Commentator Malachi O'Doherty and sports journalist Stephen Beacom debate.
