This series follows vets across Scotland as they tend to small, large and very wild animals. In this programme, Stornoway-based vet Joanna Jackson is called out to several crofts in Ness and Barvas at lambing time. The sheep are in difficulty and Joanna battles to save the sheep and lambs - but which of them will make it?

At AVR in Aberdeenshire, vet Scott Rigg is busy with several dogs. A huge Bernese mountain dog needs surgery to cure his lameness, a miniature daschund has a check-up after spinal surgery and a collie needs life-saving surgery on his airways.
