Carl Frampton came out fighting yesterday after being snubbed on this year's Sports Personality of the Year shortlist. He told this programme he felt the decision to leave him out was "anti-boxing" and "anti-Northern Irish". It caused a political storm with first minister Arlene Foster telling the Assembly it was "absolutely scandalous". Carl's manager Barry McGuigan - a former winner of Sports Personality of the Year winner - has said he is going to boycott the event. Stephen talks to communities minister - the DUPs Paul Givan.
Also on the programme, teachers who are members of the NASUWT union are out on strike today. It's a one day action forced around 40 schools in Belfast and Newtownabbey to close. And our reporter, Nicola Weir, was at the main demonstration at the Europa Hotel in Belfast.
