Sister Rita seizes the opportunity to transform the life of one of her own volunteers when she is offered the chance to run free training that could lead to a valuable qualification. Sister Rita also takes some of the community on their first ever trip to the seaside, giving them a longed-for opportunity to paddle on the beach. Plus, when Sister Rita is invited to open a food bank in Edinburgh, she picks up some tips on how to crack down on any abuse of the one back at the Lalley. And, as her team offers more help to those who need it most, it seems a solution to the allotment's water crisis is in sight.
