Thierry Henry: My France, My Euros

Documentary presented by former French international footballer Thierry Henry. He looks at the stories of Euros gone by and the cultural impact football has had across Europe.

Thierry Henry takes an in-depth look at the social and cultural impact football has had across Europe. First aired as France prepared to host the 2016 European Championship in the aftermath of the Paris terror attacks, Henry explores how something as simple as football can unify a nation and bring people together to celebrate diversity.

The documentary considers the impact previous European Championships have had on certain nations, from the success of the Dutch in 1988 to England鈥檚 ability to unite the country without lifting the trophy in 1996. Also discussed are the remarkable tales of Denmark in 1992 and Greece in 2004.
