Stories
Josie d’Arby celebrates Chinese New Year with a group of British based Chinese Christians.Ìý They’re on a pilgrimage to Barnsley following in the footsteps of James Hudson Taylor, a missionary who helped change the course of Christianity in China and a spiritual father to millions.
Sir Terry Wogan TributeÌý
In the week that we’ve been paying tribute to the much loved broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan, Aled Jones takes a trip to Northern Ireland to visit his close friend of over 40 years Father Brian D’Arcy, to share memories of the great man.Ìý
Mary's MealsÌý
From a remote Scottish village a man with a mission is overseeing a plan to feed the world’s hungry children. Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow was brought up in a Christian family in Dalmally and it was his faith that drove him to start Mary’s Meals. The charity ensures poor children get one meal a day at school and more than a million children in 6 countries are now being fed in this way. As the meals are served in schools the project encourages children to be educated and thus have a chance to escape poverty.
