Bishop Libby Lane interview

An interview withÌýthe Church of England’s first female BishopÌýRt Rev. Libby Lane, Bishop of Stockport, in her Cheshire home one year on from her consecration in York Minster. Bishop Libby has accepted the invitation from her former college, St Peter’s, Oxford to have her portrait painted and we see the artist Tom Croft adding the finishing touches in the final sitting. She speaks about the importance of redressing the balance of recognising women in public life and reflects on her first year in the job.

Tunisia Beach Attack

In June 2015, Colin Bidwell and his wife went on holiday to Tunisia.Ìý Little did they realise that they would find themselves in the middle of the worst terrorist attack on British citizens since the 7/7 bombings.Ìý Colin was shot twice but was reunited with his wife.Ìý Since returning home, Colin has started to explore faith, by visiting his local Church.Ìý He’s also sort a greater understanding of the Muslim faith by meeting the Imam of a nearby mosque.Ìý David Grant meets with Colin to hear out his experience and how his exploration of faith is helping the healing process.

Presenter, Claire McCollum goes to York Minster to meet Ellie Bangay. At age 24, she’s the youngest curate in the country as well as the first female curate in the Minster’s 800 year history.
