This is the intimate inside story of a new generation of young women like Bonnie Tyler, who came of age in the 80s. More than anything, these women wanted a career, but they had to fight every inch of the way. Film-maker Michelle Ryan, CND activist Sue Lamb, miner's wife Sian James and others tell their moving stories. Despite the fact that some suffered disappointment and divorce, they have no regrets. All remain proud of their achievements - and their mission to create a better world for all.
