Tom chats to Neil Arthur of 80s synth pop act Blancmange, who are releasing a new instrumental album 'Nil By Mouth'.
The duo enjoyed their heyday in the early 80s with 3 top 10 singles from their first 2 albums, 1982s 'Happy Families' and 1984s 'Mange Tout'. The 3rd album 'Believe You Me ' didn't fare so well and they split in 1987. They reformed and released a new album 'Blanc Burn' in 2011. Due to health reasons Stephen Luscombe was forced to retire from the band. Arthur released an updated version of their debut album in 2014 and a new album 'Semi-Detached' earlier this year.
