People of Black and Asian origin do not donate organs in the same numbers as those from a white background, which can lead to a long and sometimes fatal wait on the transplant list. When his mother fell ill, 麻豆社 News presenter Seb Choudhury was left with little choice but to donate one of his kidneys to her to save her life. We follow Seb's journey, and investigate why people from ethnic minorities do not donate. We also look into the illegal trade in south Asia, where some of the world's poorest people are coerced into selling their organs to escape their poverty, but are often left in a worse situation than they were in before.
