The topical faith show comes from the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, with live music from Steph Macleod and traditional Scottish folk group Capercaillie.
Clare Balding hosts a special Good Morning Sunday from 麻豆社 at the Quay for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. She'll be talking to athlete Christine Ohuruogu, the current 400 metres World Champion and holder of the British record for that distance. There'll be live music from Christian singer-songwriter Steph Macleod, and traditional Scottish folk group Capercaillie. Clare's faith guest is the Reverend Stuart MacQuarrie, Lead Chaplain for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. And in tribute to the World War One centenary commemorations, Clare will be joined by Pipe Major Scott Methven of The Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming.

Christine Ohuruogu
Christine Ohuruogu is one of the UK's most successful athletes. She's the current 400 metres World Champion, a title听she won at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow in August 2013, when she also broke the long-standing British record for that distance. This makes听her听the only British woman to have held听two World Championship titles. She's won听Olympic gold and silver medals, and took the听gold medal for 400 metres at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. She's at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games to compete for England as part of the 4 x 400 metres relay team.

Capercaillie
Capercaillie is a band made up of traditional musicians from the west coast of Scotland who've been working together since听the 1980s. Their style is to take traditional Gaelic songs and melodies and give them a modern twist using new production techniques and exquisite musicianship. They鈥檝e brought Gaelic music and culture to the world stage and have sold over a million albums worldwide. Last year they celebrated 30 years together and released their album 鈥淎t the Heart of it All鈥. Capercaillie is led by听Donald Shaw and Karen Matheson.

Steph Macleod
Steph Macleod is a Christian singer-songwriter who was once a promising classical guitar student at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Personal problems in his teenage years led to mental health issues and Steph found sanctuary in alcohol and drugs. 听In 2006, Steph found himself living in听a听Christian-run hostel for homeless men听where he found the听treatment and support that enabled him to overcome his addictions.

Pipe Major Scott Methven of the Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming will be talking about the role of pipers in the Scottish regiments during World War One, and will demonstrate some of the most iconic pieces of music from the time.
