Documentary examining Nairobi Nairobi, a city where the untamed wilderness and human civilization are closely intertwined.
'S e Nairobi am baile is fiadhaiche ann an Afraga. Chan eil à ite eile far a bheil fà sach fiadhaich agus à iteachan-fuirich aig daoine cho dlùth air a chèile. Chan e sìth a tha an còmhnaidh a' riaghladh eadar nà dar agus am baile - aig amannan, bidh leapardan a' tighinn a ghà rraidhean agus a' marbhadh pheataichean; bidh leòmhainn a' dol air chall am measg nan taighean, agus bidh
hyenathan a' dèanamh sgrios ann an seadaichean nan gobhar.
Tha fà sach fada is farsaing na laigh air taobh a-muigh chrìochan baile Nairobi. Tha feansa a' dìon muinntir a' bhaile bho na beathaichean, agus a' dìon nam beathaichean bho na daoine. Ach, tha tuill ann an à iteachan, agus uaireannan, gabhaidh na beathaichean cuairt dhan bhaile. Tha raonadairean Seirbheis Fiadh-bheathaichean Kenya air leth trang a' dèiligeadh ri mòran de dhiofar shuidheachaidhean nan dùthaich.
Nairobi is Africa's wildest city. Nowhere else are the untamed wilderness and human civilization more closely intertwined. Nature and city do not always coexist peacefully: Leopards invade gardens and kill pet dogs, lions get lost between rows of houses, and hyenas raid goat barns at night. A vast wilderness lies just outside Nairobi's city limits.
A fence protects city residents from the wild animals and vice versa. But there are gaps, and sometimes the animals are venturesome. The rangers of the Kenya Wildlife Service have their hands full cleaning up one disastrous situation after another.
