Kwes

After gracing the stage at the 6Music Festival and having enjoyed support from many DJs on 6 Music, Kwes takes to the 6 Mix decks for 2 hours of musical influences and inspiration.

Having enjoyed support from various DJs on 6 Music, such as Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft and Gilles Peterson, and gracing the stage at the first ever 6 Music Festival last month, Kwes takes to the 6 Mix decks.

The London-based songwriter released his debut album, ilp, last October on Warp and as a producer, has worked with Dels, The xx, Hot Chip and Micachu. He has also worked with Damon Albarn & Jamie Hewlett on their opera 'Monkey', as well as Portico Quartet and Zero 7. In this programme, Kwes takes over the 6 Mix for two hours of musical inspirations and influences.
