For many, the idea of a hospice is a place to fear, a place where people come to die, but walk in the door of Bethesda in Stornoway, and you feel a homely welcome. Bethesda sees itself very much as a place to live. Each and every year, the phenomenal sum of £230,000 has to be raised to keep the hospice services going - a fundraising target that creates a challenge each year. This moving documentary gives a rare and special insight into day to day life at Bethesda.
