The School of Scottish Studies of Edinburgh University has published Tocher for the last 40 years. The journal contains songs, stories, music, customs, beliefs, local history, rhymes and riddles transcribed from tapes held in the sound archive. Mairi Sìne Campbell selects stories from her native Kintail by Duncan Matheson and John Finlayson. She also has songs and stories from Perthshire, Lairg and Achiltibuie.
