Jerry, an American painter living in Paris, is loved by the rich and beautiful Milo, but he falls in love with a poor orphan who is engaged to someone else. Songs include I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise, I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You and Our Love Is Here to Stay, plus a 17-minute fantasy ballet sequence.
