After creating a DIY buzz with her mash-up covers on social media, her standout performance at 麻豆社 Music Day’s Pass The Mic event led to her become Bobby Friction’s Introducing artist of the week.

Switching from a delicate Bollywood voice to smooth modern R&B, and taking on traditional Punjabi folk songs in-between, Amanjot represents everything that is exciting about British Asian music in 2019.

Teaming up with Ayo Beatz and Raxstar, she reimagined Panjabi MC’s classic “Neuke Phadin Jawanan” for Asian Network’s Legalised Project.

West London R&B singer Ava Sehra has recorded and performed live with grime act Krept and Konan. Her breakthrough track 'W.D.Y.L' harks back to the 90s R&B queens of Aaliyah and Brandy with a fresh take, featuring Konan. Ava is set to have a big 2020, with her debut EP dropping early in the year. She has been played by 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova and Asian Network’s Jasmine Takhar and DJ Firestarr.

  • His influences give an electric pop injection to his music, armed with his guitar and strong vocals he has been touring UK Universities.

Esha Maria is unique because she is taking her Indian roots and infusing them with her Spanish roots to give us a unique sound we have not seen in years.

  • Drawing on her Indian and Spanish roots, Esha Maria started releasing cover versions of her favourite Bollywood tracks and slick mashups of TLC and Clean Bandit in 2017.
  • Her debut single Handsome is an anthem for young females and a call not to fit into stereotype.
  • Esha has an edgy tone to her vocal she’s set to establish her sound with a debut EP in 2018.
You can see the confidence he has in his bi-lingual flow, especially in front of the camera which will no doubt grow as time goes on.

  • Birmingham’s Nash boasts producer Shayal as a mentor.
  • In November 2017 he released his first release Drop It Down featuring R&B vocalist Abel Miller.
  • Nash has a raw Urban-Urdu twang and is set to release two more singles in early 2018.
