Andrea Gwilliam appointed Head of Internal Communications at Â鶹Éç

Andrea Gwilliam has been appointed Head of Internal Communications
at the Â鶹Éç.
Ìý
Andrea has over 20 years' experience in communications. She has
worked for large global companies and as a consultant.
Ìý
She was
Head of Internal Communications for British Airways, Deutsche Bank
and, most recently, Reuters Group.
Ìý
She has also run her own internal
communications consultancy advising companies across a range of
sectors including the public sector, energy and retail.
Ìý
Andrea takes over from Anne-Marie Bell, who left the Â鶹Éç last year.
She joins the Â鶹Éç in early September.
Ìý
In her new role, Andrea will be responsible for setting the
internal communications strategy, activities and events across all
the Â鶹Éç.
Ìý
She will work closely with the executive team, including
the Director-General, and will report to Ed Williams, Director of
Communications.

Ed Williams said: "Andrea has impressive experience of internal and
strategic communications having worked at a senior level in a range
of large global organisations.

"Her experience will be crucial in
developing the Â鶹Éç's approach to internal communications at a time
of change for staff."

Andrea Gwilliam was born and raised in Asia. She was educated in
Scotland and has a History degree from Edinburgh University.
