The Hustle team are back

The marks

Episode one

An old-time grifter has been locked up after attempting to con Howard Jennings.

Jennings, played by Charlie Creed Miles, is a ruthless property developer who has been stung once before and will not be an easy mark for the team.

He is a typical city boy, red braces, no socks and plenty of arrogance.

Charlie's television credits include White Teeth, Station Jim and Charles II.

His film credits include Nil By Mouth, King Arthur and Essex Boys.

Episode two

The gang takes on an unpredictable mark, Johnny Keyes. A prominent celebrity chef with a notorious gangland background, Keyes was a renowned murderer and all round bad guy, who was demonised by the national papers.

After having done his time in jail, Keyes is now in poor health and is worried about never finding the son he lost to a gangland kidnapping.

He's consumed by guilt for not paying the ransom but had no idea where to start his search.

Keyes is played by Stanley Townsend.

Stanley's television credits include Omagh, Fallen and Jonathan Creek.

His theatre credits include Art and Guys and Dolls.

He also won the Irish Times Best Actor Award for The Shining City (at The Royal Court & Gate Theatre, Dublin) and was also nominated for an Evening Standard Award for same role.

Episode three

Trevor is a short con artist, who's desperate for his big break into the long con.

He is found by Danny who sees a lot of himself in the young grifter and so he is invited to join the gang.

Their target is notorious dictator, Anthony Mgube, whose one weakness is his collection of rare banknotes.

Mgube is keen to get his hands on the very rarest of notes, the Yankee Green, of which there are only two in the world.

One note is owned by the American Bank and the other by a private collector. But when has that ever stopped Mickey and his team?

Trevor is played by Lee Ingleby. His film credits include Harry Potter: The Prisoner Of Azkaban and Master And Commander: Far Side Of The World.

His television credits include Blue Murder, Clocking Off and Nicholas Nickleby.

Episode four

The team's plan to con an auction house with a comic book forgery goes awry when corrupt copper, Sam Phillips, decides she wants in on the play.

With Sam threatening them with jail unless they cooperate, the gang have to let her in on the con, but can they trust her?

Sam is played by Fay Ripley whose television credits include four series of Cold Feet, The Stretford Wives and Fungus The Bogeyman.

Episode five

When Stacie claps eyes on her estranged husband Jake, who left her five years ago taking everything she owned with him, she's certain he is to be the gang's next mark.

Having graduated from the short con world to the professional poker circuit, he's good and he won't be an easy target.

Jake is played by Max Beesley. Best know for Bodies, Max has also starred in Tom Jones and Thief Takers.

He is also a highly skilled percussionist and has played alongside Robbie Williams at Knebworth and toured with Take That.

Episode six

It's the biggest score of all time. Mickey craves the notoriety and fame of the big guns such as Yellow Kid Weil and challenges the team to stealing the best-known diamond in the world: the Star of Africa.

The team is understandably nervous. Surely the Crown Jewels are just a little too ambitious?

The police are ready and waiting to take Mickey and the team in - but will the team evade arrest with a little help from the Police Commissioner?
