Sneaky peek

They'll be sneaking an exclusive peek behind the scenes as the final preparations get under way, ready for an expected turnout of 80,000 people over the two days.

Â鶹Éç 'Radio' Royal Norfolk 'Show' will be on air between 8.30am and 7pm over the three days from a purpose-built studio on the Â鶹Éç stand (264) - which is being shared with Norfolk County Council.

Â鶹Éç Radio Royal Norfolk Show

It's a move which has excited Â鶹Éç Radio Norfolk managing editor David Clayton.

"Over the 28 years we've been broadcasting from the Royal Norfolk Show we've always compromised between what we're doing from our stand, what we're doing on air from the showground and from our studios at The Forum," he said.

"So for the first time we thought we'd create a special radio studio on stand 264 and focus entirely on the show for three days on our AM frequencies and online for those who wanted to soak up the atmosphere."

Look East guest spots

The stand will also be the place to spot Look East's Susie Fowler-Watt, Julie Reinger and Amelia Reynolds on a specially-designed stage.

Visitors can hear presenters Susie and Amelia divulge the details on what goes on away from the cameras and there will be a chance to people to step up on stage and front their own mini-bulletins, with the help of the presenters and an autocue!

"I always love going to the Norfolk Show. It's great to meet viewers and have a chat about Look East," said Susie.

"We always let people into a few secrets about what goes on behind the scenes, and they can even have a go at presenting themselves - I just hope they don't make it look to easy!"

For those who have always wanted to direct their hands over the weather map, Julie Reinger will be there to show budding presenters how it's done.

Norfolk introducing

Music fans will be be able to catch a lunchtime showcase on both days from the county's emerging singer-songwriters.

Â鶹Éç Bus

In another first for Â鶹Éç Norfolk at the Royal Norfolk Show, the Â鶹Éç Bus will be rolling into the Costessey site - setting up opposite the Radio Royal Norfolk Show studio where it will be transformed into the Â鶹Éç Norfolk new media centre.

Keen photographers are being invited on board to submit their best images of the show to help create a massive online photo gallery to be published on this site.

Royal visit

It's hoped some snappers will catch Prince Harry, who is making his first visit to the show to mark the centenary of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association being given its Royal charter.

The prince - who serves in the army -Ìýwill meet the show president and one of his top chiefs, Sir General Sir Richard Dannatt, who is head of the British Army, during his three-hour visit on Wednesday.

There will also be plenty of action to see in the grand ring including the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, the sky-skimming Bolddog Lings Freestyle Motocross Team, the RAF Falcons Freefall Parachute Display Team and the Band Of The Bridgade Of Gurkhas.
