In 2003 they won the New TV Animators Award for 'Hobbies' and in 2005 they picked up the prestigious RTS West Award for Best Network Animation. Since then they have been been busy working in Shufti, an animation and film making company, which Nick set up 'to produce short films, commercials and broadcast projects'.

Winning the Â鶹Éç Talent New Animation Award 2003 has been fantastic. It has meant I have been able to make six more films since winning the award and it has been a great benefit for my career enabling me to start up my own animation studio last January.

Q1. How do you go about making a successful animation?

This is the first project we've managed to get off the ground in the last 16 years.. that has had some sort of success.
