Some people celebrate bonfire night by going to an organised event with a bonfire and firework display.
However, in recent years, fireworks displays have been scaled down or cancelled all together. Bonfire events are often very expensive to put on as they require lots of health and safety precautions and fireworks themselves can cost a lot of money.
Fireworks, bonfires and sparklers are colourful and good fun, but they can also be dangerous.
It is important to make sure you know how to stay safe: check out our guide here.

Another fun part of Bonfire Night is the tasty treats.
