Deer watching - look for the deer at the entrance to park - dawn and dusk are the best times to watch them.

Three main plantations:

Clarkencombe - ancient wood pasture with ancient old oak trees. Rownham Plantation - bluebells in spring.
Summerhouse Plantation - interesting land forms and archaeology.

Facilities:Manor House. Gardens and grounds - deer park. Visitor Centre Café in the old stable block of the Mansion. Pitch and Put golf courses.

Getting there:

Located to the west of Bristol city centre. Take the A369 Clanage Road through Clifton Lodge, and turn onto the A369 at Abbots Leigh Road. Alternatively arrive via the B3128 near Long Ashton.

The main entrances are situated off the A369 Portishead Road.
