Your Story: Mrs Scribbins at 21

What was your job and can you describe what it was like? When I was 21 I worked at Fatfield Primary and I was a year 2 teacher.

It was like an oven in the staff room and it was like a ice cube everywhere else. It was better in them days because we did no science but we did loads of projects and the children used to bring in plants.

Where did you live and what was it like? I lived in Aliss Street at IPALLION it was near a ship yard. It was like a friendly neighbourhood because everybody knew each other, also the shops were down the road so it was a really good neighbourhood. More...
