Your Story: Alex's Grandad

I was living in Windermere Crescent Hebburn with my parents. On a weekend I used to go to St Andrews hall dance and allso go for a couple of pints at the commercial pub ellison st hebburn. My wages for 40 hours work was £10 per week. Part of the wages i paid to my parents and the rest was pocket money.
