Your Story: Our Grandma & Grandpa

His best friend was Harry Knockles Habberjam and they still keep in touch. When Grandpa left Massey Ferguson he decided he wanted to be a barrister and that's what he went on to be. When Grandma was 21 she was at teacher training college learning to be a Junior school teacher.

She really liked the teaching practise and made lots of friends. Sometimes she had to live away from home, this made her sad because she missed Grandpa. She still keeps in touch with her friend June Drew that she knew from her teacher training days.

Words: Madeline Chamberlane & Jessica Haris
